Melissa Laber

Melissa Laber is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in operations, finance, sales, and logistics.

She currently serves as the General Manager of OptiFreight® Logistics, where she leads a team dedicated to helping customers save money on freight and driving efficiencies within healthcare.

Melissa has extensive sourcing experience with pharmaceutical and medical device companies, negotiating distribution service contracts for both Medical and Pharmaceutical Segments at Cardinal Health.

She is a proven leader who believes in empowering her team and coaching for excellence. Melissa's passion lies in partnering with customers to solve challenges and drive results for their businesses.

In addition to her professional roles, Melissa Laber is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. She serves as the Chair for the Cardinal Health Diversity and Inclusion council, believing in the importance of bringing one's whole self to work each day.

Melissa's academic background includes a Master of Science (MS) in International Administration from Central Michigan University and a BA in Finance from Michigan State University.

Throughout her career, she has held various key positions at Cardinal Health, including Senior Vice President, General Manager, SVP of Global Sourcing, VP of Strategic Purchasing, Director of Strategic Purchasing, Director of National Sales Administration, and HealthSystems Manager.
