Masatake Hori is a climatologist specializing in global warming studies and climate models, with a particular focus on the Winter monsoon in East Asia, Northern hemispheric annular mode, and climate formation. He has a wealth of experience in data analysis, GCM research, and field observation, including coordinating more than 30 people in field missions.
Having expertise in analysis techniques and a strong background in physics, numerical methods, and statistical analysis, Masatake is proficient in programming languages such as Fortran 77/90, Perl, Ruby, C, GrADS, GMT, NCL, and R.
