MaryAnne Oxendale

MaryAnne Oxendale is a Canadian EFL instructor with a strong educational background including most of a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Victoria.

With over fifteen years of experience teaching in China, Turkey, Vietnam, and Canada, MaryAnne specializes in EAP/IELTS, General and Business English. She is a certified IELTS writing and speaking examiner since 2009 and has been actively presenting since 2011. Her expertise extends to team management, curriculum design, and student assessment.

Apart from her teaching career, MaryAnne is also a freelance writer with a focus on adventurous, educational, and food-related topics. She has held various roles in different organizations, such as being an Assessment and Exam Invigilation Technician at Vancouver Island University and serving as the National Assessment Coordinator and Assessment Development Project Leader at RMIT University Vietnam.
