Mary Siew is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of music education and arts management.
Mary pursued her academic interests at various prestigious institutions, including the New Zealand School of Film and Television, the University of Canterbury where she completed her Master of Music with a focus on Music Theory and Composition, and the Royal Academy of Music at the University of London where she obtained a Bachelor of Music with Honors in Piano, Conducting, and Class 2 (i). She later enhanced her teaching skills by earning a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education in Music and English Literature Pedagogy from the Institute of Education at the University of London.
Throughout her career, Mary has held key leadership roles in the education sector. She notably served as the Head of Performing Arts at Branksome Hall Asia, where she demonstrated her expertise in arts management and education. Prior to that, she contributed significantly to the music programs at the Shanghai American School's Puxi and Pudong campuses as the Orchestra Director for IB Music and Band Director.
In addition to her tenure at Branksome Hall Asia, Mary has also shared her passion for music and education at the Seoul Foreign School, where she played a crucial role as a High School Band, Choir, and IB teacher.
