Mary Amaechi
Founder - Creative Director - Educator
Mary Amaechi is a leader in the fields of Ecodesign and Interior design. She is passionate about the impact these fields have on the well-being of people. Mary's key skills include communication, team building, strategic planning, decision-making, self-assessment, mentoring, motivating, collaborative problem-solving, community outreach, research, fundraising, editing, and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Mary holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Science from Georgetown University. She also holds a High School Diploma and International Baccalaureate Diploma from Benjamin Banneker Academic High School.
Mary is the founder and creative director of Ehzii Mary Interiors. She has also held several other positions, including Upper School Environmental Science & Biology Teacher at The Field School, Showroom Intern at QUADRILLE WALLPAPERS & FABRICS, WASHINGTON DESIGN CENTER, AP Biology Teacher/Technology Assistant at Washington Latin Public Charter School, and OB/GYN Medical Assistant at Reiter, Hill, Johnson & Nevin. Mary's interests extend beyond her career, as she has also been involved in various positions related to campus outreach and staff.
