Martin Taylor is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Platform Engineering and Service at Sainsbury's Tech, overseeing a wide array of systems including online platforms, mobile applications, store operations, infrastructure, and cloud services.

With over 34 years of experience in various sectors such as hospitality, retail, utility, and defense, Martin excels in IT service operations, strategy and design implementation, continuous improvement, team leadership, and transformation initiatives, playing a pivotal role in driving Sainsbury's digital and operational success.

Martin's educational background includes studies at Katherine Lady Berkeley, and his professional journey spans roles including Director of Service Operations at Sainsbury Tech, Head of Service Operations and Infrastructure at Sainsburys Argos, and Director of Business Change and Technology at Mitchells & Butlers among other notable positions.
