Martin Gibson

Martin Gibson is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in healthcare and research management.

His educational journey includes earning a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool, an MD in Medicine from The University of Manchester, an MB ChB in Medicine from the University of Liverpool, and studying FRCP at the Royal College of Physicians.

Over the course of his career, Martin has held several key leadership roles in prestigious organizations. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at NorthWest EHealth, where he continues to drive innovation and excellence in healthcare.

Previously, he contributed significantly to the NIHR Clinical Research Network as the Clinical Director for Business Development and Marketing, Clinical Director for Greater Manchester, and Associate Director for Industry. His impact was also felt at the Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, where he worked as a Consultant Physician, Director of Research and Development, and Clinical Lead for the Northwest Diabetes Research Network.

Martin's involvement in healthcare extends to academia, having served as the Director of Research and Informatics at the Greater Manchester Academic Health Science Network (GM AHSN) and the Director of the Greater Manchester Comprehensive Local Research Network at the University of Manchester.
