Martin Boehm
Rector at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht
Martin Boehm is a prominent academic and administrator currently serving as the Rector of EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, a position he has held since September 2021. He is also a Professor of Marketing at the institution. Prior to his role at EBS, Boehm was the Dean at IE Business School in Madrid from 2017 to 2021, where he had been a faculty member since 2006.12
Boehm's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Marketing from Frankfurt University and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship. He has also participated in the SSP program at MIT.13 His research and teaching focus primarily on marketing topics such as pricing and customer loyalty, and he has published several influential papers in leading marketing journals.1
In addition to his academic roles, Boehm is actively involved in various professional organizations. He serves on the board of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and is a member of the EQUIS Accreditation Board for the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) as well as the Industry Advisory Board for the EMBA Council.13
Boehm has recently transitioned from EBS Universität to become the Executive Vice President and Global Dean of Undergraduate Programs at Hult International Business School, effective from October 2024. His leadership at EBS was marked by efforts to stabilize and reposition the university financially and academically, enhancing its programs and international collaborations.23
