Nick van der Velde

Nick van der Velde is a skilled professional with a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in design and innovation.

He pursued his education diligently, culminating in a Master's degree in Strategic Product Design from Delft University of Technology, where he also completed a Minor in Sustainable Product Design and a Bachelor's in Industrial Design Engineering.

Prior to this, Nick expanded his knowledge by participating in the Erasmus program for Graphic Design & Photography at EINA Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona.

Throughout his career, Nick has held various significant roles in different organizations, showcasing his expertise and dedication.

Currently, he serves as the Marketing & Business Developer at BoP Innovation Center, demonstrating his skills in driving business growth and innovation.

Nick has previously founded Globe Works and Chakri Originals, highlighting his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership capabilities.

His professional journey also includes valuable experiences as an Intern Business Designer at Quicksand Innovation Consulting and an Intern Strategic Designer at the National Innovation Foundation.

During his academic years, Nick contributed as a Student Assistant at ConnectedCare and at TU Delft in the Department for Sustainability, showcasing his commitment to both learning and practical application of knowledge.
