Recognizing the wastefulness in the industry where telecom and IT equipment is disposed of after 5-7 years, Martijn emphasizes refurbishing to extend their lifespan, benefitting both the environment and finances. SNEW refurbishes various devices daily, employing individuals with employment challenges to provide them with second chances.

With aspirations to become a leading remanufacturer of telecom and IT products, SNEW is expanding from Boxtel to open new branches in Amsterdam and Utrecht. The organization is seeking support to realize this growth through investments, offering returns to contributors.

Martijn's educational background includes studies in Business Management, Technical and Organizational subjects, as well as courses in Speech Techniques and Performance, Business English, and Car Techniques.

His professional journey includes roles such as Founder, CEO, and Expert in Circular Business at SNEW, with a strong emphasis on sustainable practices. He has also been involved in various ventures related to fair trade electronics, asset recovery, refurbished telecom services, and circular procurement.

Martijn van Engelen has a proven track record of leadership in the telecom and IT industry, with experience in sales, advisory roles, and management positions at organizations like SecondLife Uganda LTD, Aatelco, and Advitronics Telecom.
