Michael Foster is a renowned entrepreneur, executive, and founder of several successful organizations, including the Institute for Organizational Mindfulness (IOM) and the Human Capital Institute (HCI). With over four decades of experience in executive roles in early-stage and public companies, Michael has grown and harvested successful organizations of his own. His expertise includes human capital management, strategic talent management, organizational development, entrepreneurship, leadership, and social responsibility. Michael has ten children, both biological and adopted from Russia, Ethiopia, and Kazakhstan, and splits his time between homes in Norwich, Vermont and Healdsburg, California. He studied at the University of California San Diego and is also a co-founder of The Selamta Family Project in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; a past member of the National Advisory Board of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), and contributor to the Atlantic Council.
