Markus Rottmann pursued his education by completing a Master's degree in Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Kommunikationstechnik at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, followed by a Ph.D. in Biomedizintechnik/Medizintechnik at the same institution.
Currently, Markus Rottmann serves as a scientific staff member at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), where his expertise in biomedical engineering and technology is utilized in the research and development of advanced simulations and medical interventions related to atrial fibrillation.
