Lian Huang is an accomplished patent lawyer and counsel with a strong background in engineering and biomedical technology. Huang obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Duke University, followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence in Law from the University of Maryland. Prior to her current role as Senior Patent Counsel at Genentech, Huang worked as a Patent Counsel at the same company and as a Patent Attorney at Bookoff Mcandrews, Pllc. She also served as a Law Clerk at Antonelli, Terry, Stout & Kraus, an External Affairs Extern at the USPTO, and a Patent Examiner at the USPTO.
