Mark Weakley

Mark Weakley is the Leader of the Technology & Commercial Practice Group at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP and also co-leads the firm's Private Funds Team.

With a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, B.A. in Economics from Whitworth University, and Honours Program in Economics from The University of Edinburgh, Mark boasts a strong educational background.

Mark has an extensive track record of successful transactions including representing companies like NexGen Storage, LineRate Systems, FTEN, I-Behavior, LeftHand Networks, aCerno, and various venture funds and angel investors in major acquisitions and investments.

He has also provided corporate counsel to LeftHand Networks overseeing its growth to 235 employees, $85,000,000 in venture financing, and a $360,000,000 acquisition by HP.

Moreover, Mark has represented over 200 U.S. and offshore private investment funds in their formation and operations, dealing with hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, and other investment vehicles.

Prior to his current role, Mark was a Partner at Holme Roberts & Owen LLP.
