Jason Haislmaier

Jason Haislmaier is an experienced attorney specializing in technology, data privacy, and intellectual property issues. He has worked with both established and emerging companies to structure and negotiate hundreds of transactions in these areas. His expertise extends to data privacy and security compliance matters in the US, Europe, and Asia. Jason is also actively involved in the emerging areas of data rights and the protection of data assets. Open source software is another area of his special expertise where he has helped clients with open source project offices, open source compliance strategies, participation in open source communities, contributing to and launching open source projects, and dealing with open source issues in corporate transactions.

A graduate of Franklin Pierce Law Center, Jason has also studied at Northwestern University and Marquette University High School. He is a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and formerly served as Partner-Co-Chair of the IP, Technology & Media Group at Bryan Cave LLP. Jason was also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado School of Law. Prior to his current role, he has held positions as a Senior Associate at Holme Roberts & Owen LLP, an Associate at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, and K&L Gates.
