Mark Tomai
Mark Tomai, a seasoned pharmaceutical industry expert with over 29 years of experience, is making waves in the drug delivery and immunology fields. Having spent over 12 years as the Head of Vaccine and Microneedle Business Development at 3M Drug Delivery Systems, where he led partnering efforts focused on transdermal drug delivery and vaccine adjuvants used in treating cancer, Tomai now focuses on biopurification and development of toll-like receptor agonists to improve drug delivery systems. He has a proven ability in identifying drug candidates, preclinical development, and preparing INDs for clinical studies and NDAs for registration. Tomai is an innovative and passionate researcher, mentor, and team player who is driven by scientific excellence. He holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology/Immunology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota.
