Mark Kilens, former VP of Marketing and founder of HubSpot Academy, is currently the Vice President of Content and Community at Drift, where he leads the brand, content, creative, and events teams. Kilens is responsible for overseeing Drift's community, Drift Insider, which has over 50,000 members, and Drift's FLASH, RevGrowth, and HYPERGROWTH events. He studied Bachelor of Science at the University of New Hampshire before he joined HubSpot. He spent two years working with thousands of HubSpot customers to scale their inbound strategy before building HubSpot Academy from the ground up, where he educated and certified millions of people and helped grow HubSpot to over $600 million in revenue.

Kilens is an experienced marketer and entrepreneur, with a demonstrated history of building teams and communities that drive customer value. He has been involved in various organizations, including Pavilion, High Alpha, and Underscore VC. Kilens is also passionate about sports and enjoys playing golf and snowboarding in his free time.
