Mark Deepwell

Mark Deepwell is the Technical Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Kritik, a position he has held since November 2021. He is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Deepwell is recognized as a creative problem solver who excels in managing complex projects and delivering high-quality products. His expertise spans all phases of technical project delivery, including vision, strategy, feasibility, implementation, and ongoing maintenance. He is well-versed in agile development methodologies, which he applies to keep projects on track and ensure timely delivery.12

Before joining Kritik, Deepwell held several significant roles, including Vice President of Technology and Products at Policy Reporter, where he led technical due diligence and team integration following an acquisition. He has also served as Chief Technology Officer at Policy Reporter and Stage 3 Systems Inc., where he focused on strategic direction and product development, significantly improving team effectiveness and customer satisfaction.1

Deepwell holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and an MBA in Management of Technology from Simon Fraser University. His career reflects a strong commitment to mentoring and developing effective teams while fostering a culture of quality and innovation in software development.1
