Mark Burrell

Mark Burrell is a successful marketing entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Hello Weldon, a parental wellness platform startup. Burrell studied marketing and economics at Boston College and then served as an analyst for Morgan Stanley before pursuing a career in the film industry. He worked as an agent trainee at ICM Partners, a creative executive at Intermedia Film and was part of the team that created successful movies like The Dark Knight and The Departed. Later, he co-founded an advertising company called Tongal, which connected freelancers with companies looking for advertising services. Burrell also worked as a partner at Half Shell Entertainment and was part of the leadership council at Ad Council, a nonprofit organization that produces public service announcements. In 2016, Burrell co-founded Human Ventures Co., an early stage venture capital firm which funds startups focused on improving people's lives by using technology. He left the company in 2020 to concentrate on his current role at Hello Weldon.
