Marissa Weitzman is an environmental activist deeply involved in the regenerative field, where she wears multiple hats as an educator, chef, and natural builder.
Currently, she serves as the head of the Sustainability and Garden Education Program at Alta Vista School, where she connects children to natural cycles and imparts knowledge extending beyond the garden ecosystem.
Marissa showcases her love for food through a weekly community school lunch program providing seasonal, organic meals. She is also the creative mind behind Meaningful Meals Catering, a catering company that sheds light on the story behind the food on your plate.
Passionate about healthy living environments, Marissa is a skilled natural plasterer who finds solace in the meditative art of troweling natural materials onto walls. She is eager to share her expertise and experiences with others.
Marissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with minors in Biology and Geography from San Francisco State University.
