Marissa Rousselle, MPH

Marissa Rousselle, MPH, is a dedicated school & community-based program director with a wealth of experience in a wide range of programming areas including academic, STEM, youth development, recreation, enrichment, civic engagement, and teen pregnancy prevention.

With a Master of Public Health degree in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Illinois Chicago and a strong educational background in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics from Simmons University and St. Mary's Academy Bay View, Marissa brings a solid foundation to her work.

Marissa has held various key roles in organizations such as the City of Seattle, Seattle Parks and Recreation, YMCA of Greater Seattle, New York Abortion Access Fund, Morris Heights Health Center, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Children's Hospital Boston.

Her professional journey includes positions like Communications and External Affairs Manager, Strategic Advisor, Recreation Program Coordinator, Program Director, Board of Directors- Data Coordinator, Program Manager, Intern, and Research Assistant, showcasing her diverse skill set and adaptability.

Marissa is known for her effective communication skills, relationship-building capabilities with public schools & community organizations, as well as her success in cultivating partnerships with youth & families. She is a highly organized, efficient, and flexible leader who excels under pressure and is committed to evidence-informed practices that support educational equity and empower young people.
