Maria Spiropulu

Shang-Yi Ch'en Professor of Physics, California Institute of Technology

Maria Spiropulu is an experimental physicist and researcher known for her work in physics beyond the Higgs, supersymmetry, dark matter searches, ultrafast timing quantum devices, and quantum technologies.

She has a strong background in utilizing Big Data and AI methods to accelerate scientific discoveries.

Maria's educational journey includes a Ph.D. in Physics and an MSc in Physics from Harvard University, as well as a BSc in Physics from Aristoteleion Panepistimion Thessalonikis.

She has been actively involved in various organizations, such as being a Co-Founder at AQT/INQNET, a former Professor of Physics at Caltech, and holding positions at CERN and Fermilab in the field of high-energy physics and particle physics research.
