Maria Laaksonen

Maria Laaksonen is an experienced professional with a background in academia, specializing in researching glioblastoma, a common and deadly brain cancer, through cell culture and NGS data analysis. Transitioning from academia to the industry, Maria currently works at the BioIT company MediSapiens. In this role, she assists the sales team with technical inquiries, undertakes data analysis projects with clients, and participates in software development.

Maria is proficient in programming languages such as R, Python, and C++. She actively uses R and Python in her daily work and possesses agile working skills, having experience working in scrum teams.
