Maria K. Matthews is the Director of Generosity and Donor Relations at The Generosity Trust, a position she has held since July 2018. A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, she has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, with over 35 years in various roles related to development and fundraising. Notably, she spent 29 years at Girls Preparatory School, which is also her alma mater.12
Matthews graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art History. In her current role, she focuses on fostering relationships with donors and enhancing the organization's fundraising efforts. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys painting in different media, including oils and encaustic art. She and her husband, Dennis, are active members of City Church of Chattanooga, where they serve as elders.12
