Maria Joyce is the founder of The Protocol School of New Jersey, a respected institution that offers contemporary etiquette and protocol training to emerging leaders and high achievers in various industries, such as education, government, healthcare, legal, and hospitality. With a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from The University of Akron, Joyce is passionate and skilled in cultivating civility, competency, compassion, and character among students and staff. She has worked as a special education teacher for the Walnut Creek School District, a Walk America Coordinator for March of Dimes, a Director for Creative Seminars Unlimited, and a Volunteer Coordinator and Trainer for the Medina County Crisis Help Line. Joyce has been frequently featured in various publications and news organizations, including ABC's 20/20 special entitled "That is So Rude: What has Happened to Manners in America?".
