Mari-lou Dupont
Senior Vice President, Social Compliance
Mari-lou Dupont is the Senior Vice President of Social Compliance at the Fair Labor Association (FLA). She has over 15 years of experience in advocating for human rights and improving working conditions globally. Dupont began her career as an anthropologist and lawyer, working with First Nations in Canada.
From 2013 to 2017, she was based in Paris, where she served as a legal expert at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), focusing on investment policies and responsible business conduct. During her tenure at FLA, she has held various roles, including Director of Social Compliance-Accreditation, where she oversaw the promotion and implementation of the Labour Principles of the United Nations Global Compact from 2018 to 2022. In this capacity, she managed multiple projects aimed at enhancing labor conditions within global supply chains.
Dupont holds degrees in anthropology and law from the University of Montreal and has passed the bar examinations in both Quebec and Paris. She is fluent in English and French.123
