Marcus Tan

Marcus Tan is a successful entrepreneur and co-founder of Carousell, an online marketplace for buying and selling second-hand items. With a background in business administration from the National University of Singapore and experience studying at Stanford University, Marcus has a great understanding of business and community building. He is passionate about product design, brand, and community, which led him to work on Carousell's product and brand design during the early days. Currently, Marcus serves as the President of Carousell and manages the organization's People, Culture, and Strategy. He believes in redefining commerce, where second-hand is the first choice, which has led Carousell to become the top-ranked shopping and lifestyle application in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Australia.
