Marco DeMeireles is a seasoned venture capitalist with a decade of experience building and scaling investment firms in different sectors and stages. He began his career with Morgan Stanley in the Bay Area, deepening his interest in technology and honing his investing skills at Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV). He went on to build a venture and growth equity business from scratch at Balyasny, leading to ten core investments and IPOs such as Peloton. Marco's background includes investments in marketplaces, financial technology, healthcare, and consumer subscription, among others. He is currently a Partner and Investment Committee member at The Chernin Group (TCG), leading investments in consumer health (Dadi), livestreaming (ShopShops), and end-of-life services (Better Place Forests). Marco holds a B.A. from Williams College and sits on the Board of ShopShops.
