Reinder Lubbers is a former Olympic rower, investment banker, venture capitalist, and entrepreneur. After having a successful career in finance, he started his own new-style venture capital firm called "No Such Ventures." Unlike most traditional investment firms, No Such Ventures does not have passive fund investors, and instead, they invest deal-by-deal backed by an engaged and capable group of active entrepreneurs and senior managers who have active business networks. This makes No Such Ventures more flexible in terms of investing, investing with conviction, and with more resources and future funding for these businesses.

Reinder Lubbers studied Gymnasium in Economics & Society at Etty Hillesum High School, followed by studying BSc in Economics and Management and MSc in Finance at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Aside from his education, he has been part of several organizations, held multiple positions such as Chief Operating Officer & Shareholder at 24i, Venture Capital Investor at Walvis Participaties, and Private Equity Investor at Kempen & Co. He was also a President at Royal Dutch Student Rowing Federation, a Board Member - Race Rowing at Royal Amsterdam Rowing & Sailing Club 'De Hoop,' and a proud member at fCN - Founders Carbon Network.
