Marcella White Campbell

Marcella White Campbell is a prominent figure in Jewish diversity advocacy. She served as the executive director of Be'chol Lashon, a nonprofit organization promoting ethnic and racial diversity in the Jewish world, from January 2021 to October 2021.12 Campbell was the first person of color to lead Be'chol Lashon, succeeding founder Diane Tobin.12

Prior to her role as executive director, Campbell worked as Be'chol Lashon's Director of Marketing and Communications, helping develop educational resources about Jewish communities worldwide.14 She holds a BA in English from Stanford University and an MA in Literature from San Francisco State University.4

Campbell's background includes experience in Silicon Valley, where she developed craft kits and hands-on educational materials.2 She is an award-winning essayist, copywriter, and storyteller, focusing on crafting narratives and championing diversity.5

Currently, Campbell is certified as an Interim Executive Director for Non-Profits.3 She continues to be involved with Be'chol Lashon as their most recent Executive Director Emeritus.4
