Marc Stern

Marc Stern is a seasoned professional in the finance and asset management industry, currently serving as the Chairman of The TCW Group, Inc., a prominent firm with assets exceeding $200 billion.

With a career spanning several decades, Mr. Stern has held various high-ranking roles at TCW, including CEO, President, and Vice Chairman. He has also contributed significantly to Société Générale Group, a major European financial institution that owned TCW during 2001-2013.

Before his tenure at TCW, Marc Stern was a key figure at SunAmerica and the Henley Group. His career commenced in 1970 as an attorney at the esteemed law firm Debevoise & Plimpton.
