Marc Alvidrez

Marc Alvidrez is a Digital Service Expert at the United States Digital Service (USDS). In his role, he has contributed to various significant projects, including the launch of covidtests.gov and enhancements to the national Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN).

Before joining USDS, Alvidrez had a notable career in the tech industry, spending 25 years in various engineering roles. He was part of the first generation of Site Reliability Engineers at Google and later worked at Loon, where he was responsible for the integration and operation of a balloon-based communications platform aimed at providing internet services to underserved communities globally.124
