Jazmine da Costa

Jazmine da Costa is currently the Environment and Public Space Program Officer at the William Penn Foundation, based in Philadelphia. In her role, she manages grantmaking initiatives focused on enhancing parks and public spaces, as well as addressing environmental challenges in the Greater Philadelphia area. Her work is particularly aimed at improving community access to safe and well-maintained public spaces, which include parks, gardens, and recreation centers, while also preparing communities for the impacts of climate change.13

Da Costa has a strong background in strategic planning, grant making, and impact investing. She has previously worked with organizations such as SustainVC and the Untours Foundation, contributing to her expertise in fostering sustainable community development.46 Her educational background includes studies at the Yale School of Management, where she developed her skills in business and environmental stewardship.5
