Manuel Lang

Manuel Lang is a professional with a keen interest in project development and consulting for energy supply systems, neighborhood concepts, and the planning of photovoltaic (PV) systems as part of contributing to the energy transition. With practical experience gained as a working student at Vattenfall in the 'Decentral Solar' department, Manuel has been involved in the planning and design of PV systems using tools like PV SOL and AutoCAD. His pursuits extend to various generation technologies and sustainable energy concepts. His Master's thesis involved optimizing sustainable energy supply systems for new settlements in South Africa, where he modeled different generation units and utilized software like oemof to find the most cost-effective combination for electricity and heat supply, considering local economic conditions.
