Chief Learning Officer, Generation UK & Ireland
Mangala Nanda is the Chief of Learning at Generation UK & Ireland, a role she has held since May 2021. In this position, she leads the Learning team, ensuring that learners have access to high-quality training and support to prepare them for successful careers. Prior to her current role, she served as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at the same organization since January 2020, and as Curriculum & Instruction Lead from September 2018 to January 2020.12
Nanda has extensive experience in the education sector, having held various leadership positions in schools and educational organizations both in the UK and India. Her previous roles include being a Freelance Education Consultant, where she worked with organizations such as Ada, National College for Digital Skills, and Teach First, focusing on inclusion and mentorship for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. She also served as an Assistant Headteacher at Reach Academy Feltham, where she implemented strategies for supporting vulnerable students.12
Additionally, Nanda was a founding member of Avasara Academy in India, a non-profit secondary school aimed at empowering young women through education. Her work has consistently centered around improving educational outcomes and supporting marginalized communities.12
