Generation is the world's largest youth employment organisation, a social enterprise which has trained 22,000 young people across 9 countries to date and placed them into career-launching jobs.  I lead on curriculum and instruction for all Generation UK programmes.

- At Ada, I led on inclusion, setting up structures and processes to identify and effectively support vulnerable students and those with special education needs. *At Causeway Education I mentored students from low-income backgrounds aspiring to go to University through the Academic Apprenticeship programme; 100% of students on this programme received at least one offer from a Russell Group University*At Teach First, I developed and facilitated training programmes for teachers on how to support vulnerable students and those with SEND

I led and implemented Reach Academy's inclusion strategy so all vulnerable students could lead lives of choice and opportunity. Vulnerable students include: children in care; children with social-emotional & mental health (SEMH)  needs, children with special education and/or learning needs; students involved in or at risk of: child sexual exploitation, domestic violence, gangs and familial neglect.

I was a founding member of Avasara Academy, a non-profit secondary school which educates and encourages young women (from the ages of 13-18) with strong academic and leadership potential to become future leaders in India and around the world. Avasara was inspired by the significant numbers of talented students we met across India with the potential and motivation to become active leaders and change-makers in their communities. However, without the right academic intervention and practical exposure during adolescence, many of these students—who lack institutional, family or peer support—simply disappeared from the educational landscape. I had a range of responsibilities, including: Strategic partnerships, fundraising, curriculum development, community engagement and student recruitment

I researched for, wrote in, and provided editorial support for the Facing History publication 'Identity and Belonging in a Changing Great Britain'. This book supports History/Citizenship teachers to facilitate dialogue in their classrooms on race, religion and multicultural Britain

I worked in Azim Premji Foundation's Institute for Assessment and Accreditation. I was responsible for developing a Teacher Competency Framework and associated tools and training materials. The framework and tools enabled teachers and other professionals to identify teacher strengths and areas for development, and use this to inform their professional development plans. This project was part of a wider initiative to improve the quality of teaching and raise attainment in rural primary schools.

I was a History teacher and then Head of Department from 2006. I was placed at Fulham Cross through the Teach First programme. I taught students from Year 7-11, increasing the uptake of students choosing History as a GCSE option and overall GCSE results.
