Maher Aoun

Maher Aoun is a trilingual sales professional with extensive international Fintech experience, currently based in Dubai.

His expertise spans across payments, financial software, enterprise sales, solution selling, business development, negotiation, account management, pre-sales, product management, product marketing, implementation, IT consulting, startups, capital markets, trading, investments, portfolio management, and risk management.

He pursued M.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.

Maher Aoun has held key positions including VP of Sales and Business Development at Wafeq وافِق, roles in Sales and Business Development at Stripe, FIS, Calypso Technology, as well as being a Co-founder at Aura Avenue.

His experience also includes roles as Portfolio Manager/Trader at Olayan Investments, Fixed Income Portfolio Manager/Trader at Mellon Capital Management, and Solutions Manager/Market Specialist at Calypso Technology.
