Throughout his illustrious career, Mahendra Swarup has held key leadership positions in various organizations, showcasing his expertise and strategic acumen.

Currently, he serves as the Founder & Managing Partner at Venture Gurukool Capability Fund AIF, where he leverages his financial knowledge to drive investment decisions.

Previously, Mahendra Swarup has held significant roles such as Chairman at the Association of Independent Directors of India and Managing Director & Partner at Resurgence PE.

His extensive experience includes serving as the President of the Indian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (IVCA) and Co-Promoter Chairman & Chief Mentor at Smile Group.

Mahendra Swarup has also contributed his leadership skills as the Head of Brand Capital at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) and as the Managing Director & CEO at Times Internet.

Prior to his roles in the media industry, he held the position of Executive Director at PepsiCo, showcasing his versatility across different sectors.
