    Maayan's educational background includes a Master's degree in Digital Media from Ryerson University and a Bachelor's degree in Radio and Television from the same institution.

    Throughout her career, Maayan has held key roles in various organizations, including serving as Chair of the Accessible Travel Journey Technical Committee at Accessibility Standards Canada and as the Founder and CEO of AccessNow.

    She has also contributed her expertise as an Advisory Board Member for the Israel Ministry of Tourism, Advisory Council Member for the Government of Canada focusing on Tourism, and as an Advisory Committee Member for Privy Council Office and Parks Canada.

    Additionally, Maayan has been part of The Next 36, worked as a Freelance Journalist for CBC/Radio-Canada, and collaborated with the RARE Theatre Company in a project called Borne - Actor/Collaborator.

    Maayan Ziv also has a photography background, having served as the President of Maayan Ziv Photography.
