Growing up as the only hearing person in a deaf family, they have been interpreting for their family since the age of 5. This experience gave them firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, inspiring them to create solutions to enhance communication.

Equipped with a double master's degree in Machine Learning and AI from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and UC Berkeley, the team's CEO founded Ava, a company focused on making the everyday lives of 450 million deaf and hard-of-hearing people accessible. Their vision is to provide a 24/7 accessible environment for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. The CEO's passion for this cause was intensified after a life-changing trip to India, motivating them to find innovative solutions.

Ava has made significant strides in addressing accessibility by developing the fastest captioning system for conversations. This technology enables individuals and organizations to communicate effectively with deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. As a result, Ava's accessibility system has been widely adopted, used by major companies, schools, conferences, and museums globally. Their outstanding achievements in this domain garnered them recognition, including the Advancement for Accessibility Award by the FCC in 2017.

The CEO's expertise extends beyond their entrepreneurial endeavors. They have worked as a Data Scientist Consultant at UC Berkeley - IIT Kharagpur and as a Project Manager/Analytics Associate at AgilOne. Additionally, they had the opportunity to serve as a Junior Consultant at Stupeflix and as the Director of Communications at Ponts ParisTech Refresh. Their diverse professional experiences have equipped them with a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of the challenges faced in the field.
