Lyron Wahrmann
Entrepreneur, Executive Manager, Mentor and FinTech Lecturer
Lyron Wahrmann is an experienced entrepreneur and FinTech executive. He has held leadership positions in various high-level management and research and development roles. Notably, he established and led the Citi Technology Innovation Center in Israel until 2016, which focuses on developing applications for Citi Institutional Bank, Information Security, and Compliance.1 Before his work at Citi, he served as the R&D director at SuperDerivatives, a global leader in cloud-based market data and derivatives trading technology, which was sold to ICE for $350 million.1
Wahrmann is also involved in academia; he teaches courses related to FinTech at NYU Tel Aviv and IDC Herzliya.1 He holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and International Relations from the Hebrew University.1
Currently, Lyron Wahrmann is the Founder and CEO of ConverCx, a FinTech startup leveraging artificial intelligence to build a robo-analyst.2
