Creative Strategist / Community Builder / Copywriter

As content manager at 180 Amsterdam, I've had the opportunity to put in practise and utilise my diverse skill set, from creating dynamic copies that perfectly personify a brands voice, helping to cultivate new communities to creating Tik Tok videos and organising shoots. 

I've challenged myself by working across B2B and B2C brands, applying key learnings from both to help my clients gain an edge on their competitors. 

My responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage social creative strategy and community programmes
- Manage and create social and digital content
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Use social media marketing tools such as Kontentino or Hootsuite
- Use reporting tools such as Google Data Studio & respective platform analytics 
- Work with copywriters and designers to fulfil client briefs and needs
- Work with influencers to further our social media goals
- Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Hire and train others in the team, with 1-1 development sessions
- Further internal social knowledge with workshops and weekly reports

Editorial Assistant

Working at LUSH Sheffield I had the opportunity to work within the Visual Merchandising team. Here I worked to ensure the shop represented LUSH values and fit the brand by creating window and shop floor displays and making flower arrangements that fit the current theme. I also gained some valuable marketing experience as to how this Visual Merchandising effects sales, footfalls and more.

At Gay Times, I gained experience of working in the publishing industry. I wrote short entertainment and news stories for the online edition of the publication. I also performed other tasks such as transcribing, news searching and fact checking; Using sites like reddit to get information first and quickly. It was an opportunity to use my creative skills and think laterally to see things from different and fresh angles.

As a student ambassador I have worked closely with the marketing team, to promote and inform students on the various campaigns and opportunities the students' union offers. I had the opportunity to write for the Student's union social media accounts, photograph and write about the various events and activities that took place at the union.

As a telephone interviewer, I had a to reach a certain number of surveys each session. I would adhere to script and point respondents to relevant people to gain further information. I developed my customer services skills and gained a polite telephone manner.
