Lynn Metcalf

Lynn E. Metcalf is a dedicated Professor of Entrepreneurship at California Polytechnic State University and serves as the co-Academic Director for the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

With a background in Marketing and International Business, Dr. Metcalf has a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina, a Masters from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon.

During a professional leave from Cal Poly, she contributed to strategy development and new product initiatives at Philips in Palo Alto, showcasing her expertise in fostering partnerships with research institutions.

Dr. Metcalf's research interests encompass qualitative research methods, package design, innovation, entrepreneurship, and international business negotiation.

She has been involved in various educational institutions and industry organizations, including roles as a Marketing Department Chair, Adjunct Faculty, and Visiting Professor at notable institutions worldwide.
