Luke Terry

Luke Terry is the Chief Executive Officer of White Box Enterprises, a role he has held since founding the organization in 2019. Based in Brisbane, Australia, he established White Box Enterprises to tackle challenges commonly faced in launching social enterprises, particularly issues related to access to affordable space, capital, and partnerships necessary for integrating social enterprises into mainstream employment practices in Australia.13

Under his leadership, White Box Enterprises has made significant strides in the social enterprise sector. The organization has created over 400 jobs for vulnerable individuals and attracted more than $21 million in capital. Additionally, it has supported 34 social enterprises and garnered backing from 23 corporate and philanthropic organizations.12

Prior to founding White Box Enterprises, Luke had over 15 years of experience in the social enterprise and not-for-profit sectors. He was instrumental in launching Vanguard Laundry and involved in several large-scale employment-focused projects aimed at creating meaningful job pathways for individuals facing employment barriers both in Australia and the UK.14
