Luke Anderton

Luke Anderton is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in talent management and people operations, particularly in the tech industry. He served as Senior People Partner (HR) Manager at Google from January 2017 to May 2022.1 During his time at Google, Luke was responsible for HR and talent management for several key areas, including:

• Area 120 (Google's in-house incubator)
• Google For Startups
• Corp Dev (M&A team)
• Gradient Ventures (AI investment fund)
• Various stealth tech projects1

Prior to this role, Luke held other positions at Google, including:

• Alphabet Program Manager, advising on Talent & HR strategies for Alphabet companies
• Interim Head of Talent at Verily Life Sciences (November 2015 - January 2017)
• Staffing Manager (June 2012 - January 2017)1

After leaving Google in May 2022, Luke joined a stealth startup in the EV industry as Head of People, where he worked on setting up people processes and frameworks for a company expected to grow to 500-1000 employees.1

Luke holds a BA in French and Management from the University of Reading and has certifications in Co-Active Coaching, Human Resources Management from Cornell University, and Behavioral Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.1
