Lucija Iličić

Lucija Iličić is currently the Country Manager at more.com. She is a business development-oriented professional with a background in organizational psychology. Previously, she served as the CEO & Founder of Plate Pay, an online payment platform for drive-in and drive-through services.12

Lucija's career journey is notable, as she transitioned from psychology to SaaS sales and business development in the IT sector. Her career change was recognized in Croatia, where she was identified as "1 in 4 million" - part of a group of individuals who changed their careers to start something different and exceptional.1

During her time at Plate Pay, Lucija and her team developed a universal vehicle registration plate payment platform for daily use. The company's motto was "Drive. Pay. Enjoy." and aimed to simplify payments for drive-in and drive-through services. Plate Pay received funding from Fil Rouge Capital and was part of the ZICER Startup Factory 2020.1

Prior to her current role, Lucija has held various positions, including International Sales Manager at Trilix d.o.o., where she worked on establishing and developing an international sales network for BookOn, a trips & tours booking solution. Her experience also includes roles as an Online Sales and Customer Success Specialist at Agrivi and as a Psychologist at NPB Dr. Ivan Barbot.1

Lucija is passionate about empowering women in the startup scene in Croatia. She aims to bring the Women Startup Competition to Croatia and connect Croatian women with the knowledge and experience base of the Women Tech Network. Her efforts have been recognized, as Plate Pay was nominated by the Woman Tech Network in the category of Women-Led Startup in Tech of the Year 2020, making it to the TOP50 in the Community Award Category.1
