Matthew Lombardi

Matthew Lombardi is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in venture capital, entrepreneurship, social impact, and management consulting. Currently, he is instrumental in establishing and driving the platform services function at TELUS Global Ventures (TGV), a prominent corporate venture capital firm. In his role, Matthew focuses on enhancing value within TGV's global portfolio of direct equity investments through strategic collaborations with deal teams, portfolio company leaders, and key stakeholders at TELUS. Prior to TGV, Matthew led the resurgence of OneEleven, a post-seed accelerator in Toronto, propelling it to be recognized as one of Canada's 50 Most Impactful Companies in 2022. His entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding GroceryHero, engaging in impactful work with the United Nations World Food Programme, and offering strategic insights in management consulting at Deloitte. Matthew's commitment to fostering innovation extends to his roles as an angel investor, a mentor at NEXT Canada, and a board member at the Toronto Zoo. He also shares his expertise through writing for reputable publications and educating future leaders in the MBA program at Schulich School of Business, York University.
