He holds an M.Tech in Energy Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, and a Post Graduation Diploma in Operations Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

With a rich background in the renewable energy sector, Lokesh has served in key positions such as Group General Manager - Renewable at TRACTEBEL, Sr. General Manager - Renewables at TRACTEBEL, Sr. General Manager - Renewables at Lahmeyer International India Pvt.
