Lizzie Utset

Lizzie Utset, a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, is making strides in her career with a focus on educational programming and social justice. She is currently a Program Associate with Atlas Corps in Washington, D.C. where she draws from her experience in Communicative Language Teaching methodology, curriculum design, experiential and peace education, and small-group facilitation. Lizzie's passion for empowering women and exploring women's issues in diverse classroom settings shines through in her professional and personal life.

Lizzie Utset's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Chinese Studies from the University of South Carolina-Columbia and Chinese Studies from East China Normal University. Prior to her current position, Lizzie worked as a University Lecturer for the Peace Corps, where she shared her knowledge and skills with students abroad. She also served as a Peer Advisor at the Study Abroad Office at the University of South Carolina, fostering a love for travel and awareness of diverse cultures.
