Liza Stiff is a seasoned professional with a rich educational background and extensive experience in the field of architecture and design. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) from Queen's University and further pursued her passion by completing a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) in Architecture from the University of Toronto.
Throughout her career, Liza has held various prominent positions, showcasing her expertise in innovation, design, research, and program development. Currently, she serves as the VP Innovation and Design at TAS in Toronto, where she leads the way in creating cutting-edge solutions and pushing the boundaries of architectural design.
Prior to her role at TAS, Liza held the position of Director of Research and Program at TAS, further solidifying her reputation as a leader in the industry. Her diverse experience includes consulting in planning, design, and delivery at EKS - Intelligence in Events, as well as managing games design and delivery at the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee.
Liza's journey in the architectural realm has seen her contribute significantly to various renowned organizations. She has worked as an architect at Diamond and Schmitt Architects, sharing her creativity and technical skills in designing architectural marvels.
Her passion for imparting knowledge has led her to engage as a sessional faculty member at esteemed institutions such as the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto. Liza has also honed her design skills by working at gh3 and gaining valuable international experience as an architectural intern at Todd Williams Billie Tsien in NYC and Lewis and Hickey in Dublin.
Her well-rounded professional background also includes a stint at CS&P Architects, where she further enriched her architectural acumen. Liza Stiff's dedication to the art and science of architecture shines through her multifaceted experience and continuous pursuit of innovation and excellence.
