Dr. Liz Letchford is the founder of Body Church, a transformative community focused on the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. With over 17 years of experience in health and movement science, she combines her background as a researcher, clinician, and performing artist to create innovative approaches to healing and personal development.
Educational Background and Career
Letchford began her career in the medical field, becoming a Board Certified Athletic Trainer and an EMT-Enhanced after studying at James Madison University. She later pursued a Master's degree in Health and Movement Science at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she worked with underprivileged youth as an Athletic Trainer. Her journey continued with a PhD in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science from the University of Hawaii, where she also reignited her passion for the performing arts.12
Body Church
Body Church is designed as a safe space for individuals to explore their body intelligence and reset their nervous systems. The program incorporates cutting-edge embodiment techniques alongside creative expression to facilitate healing and personal growth.
